I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and have lived in the same house all my life. Although I have never moved, there have been so many changes around my neighborhood that where I once lived 18 years ago isn't the same today. People have always told me that Sacramento is the best city to live in because it isn't as crowded and there are tons of job opportunities here, but I want to see what else is out there. I love California and I always plan on living here and despite the cost of living, I hope to move to the bay area and start my career there. I have always loved the weather near the Bay as well as it's urban feel.
First and foremost, I'm in college so that I can obtain a degree. Currently I am double majored under Psychology and Pre-pharmacy. I majored in Psychology because it is one of my favorite subjects, but ultimately I will attend pharmacy school, hopefully at UOP, and graduate with my PharmD. I know that with those goals I will probably be in school for a good 5 or more years, but I am determined to become a pharmacist so that I can help those who need medicinal care and introduce innovative medicines to cure disease to the general public.
